No one should harass anyone for changing their lifestyle if it doesn’t affect them.
I swear I have seen so many people come out in protest against the others because they decided to independently change their way of living. And that person probably doesn’t even know the protestor yet the protesting parties would make sure to send a threat across perhaps to harass them to make them revert back to their old lifestyle. Now we could involve religions in the matter but let’s keep it general with a couple of generic examples. We often see families wanting to kick their children out of the house for coming out as part of the LGBT community. Some friends and family members go gaga when you tell them you have decided to start a vegan diet. They would throw tantrums and criticism at you just to get you to revert back or stop with the whole vegan thing.,
I believe when a person’s personality life choices do not affect anyone else but themself, no one is in the position to argue with them or coerce them into changing their mind. Today’s story touches upon a similar topic in which a family teaches their son a very good lesson.
Reddit user Sweaty_Bit8025 shared how their daughter had shifted to an all-vegan diet and the whole family supported her decision except her own brother. He kept giving her sh*t for not eating meat or any non-vegan food. The family decided to take notice of this matter and punished their son by making him eat vegan-only food for a whole month.

No, mom and dad were NTAs in this case. The son was a pretty massive AH if you ask me. He had no right to harass his little sister for going vegan. I mean, think about it. You are an elder brother. You should support your little sibling’s decision. It’s not like she was going to turn against the country or something. She just adopted a new diet and the boy shouldn’t have had any problem with that. I feel like this was a great measure to only cook vegan food in the house. That way the daughter would’ve also felt good that her decision is being supported and the son would’ve also felt where he went wrong.
