An animal is a living being, not a thing.
I know legally pets are considered to be property but that is not how we as humans treat them. They are a part of our family and some of us love them more than we can ever love other humans. That is the sort of bond many of us can create with our pets. So I can’t even imagine being separated from my pet during covid. However, many people had to go through just that for a myriad of reasons so it was a happy moment for many when the quarantine lifted and they could get their pets back.
However, a lot of heartbreaking stories have surfaced during this time especially when it comes to pets but this story might be the weirdest of them all. I know now all dogs can be trained perfectly and I also understand that not everyone is fully equipped to handle a dog but that doesn’t mean you can hurt someone this way and deny it afterward. What these in-laws did is abhorrent and you can read all about it by scrolling below.

This is going to be a wild ride so buckle up.
We get a little bit of background as to how this woman rescued her doggo.
Everyone has had to make compromises because of the quarantine and this particular one ended with her having a different dog.
Thankfully she did get the dog back but her in-laws deserve what is coming to them.
People in the comments were 100% on her side.
And most people if not everyone advised her to continue with the lawsuit.
I honestly don’t understand how they thought this was an okay thing to do. I mean, if they couldn’t take care of the dog, they could have just called her and asked her to find the doggo another home or maybe a pet care center when her trip extended to a month. I don’t blame them for not being able to handle the dog but I do blame them for replacing the dog. It boggles my mind to see these sorts of people not realizing that what they are doing will hurt someone. And then they also had the audacity to lie to her face when she caught them in the white lie.
After all, how else were they going to learn that what they did was wrong?
We also get a little bit more information about the reason his parents replaced the dog in the first place.
I am curious as to see where the boyfriend stands in this particular fiasco.
We also got confirmation that the other doggo is happy and found a new home.
What are your thoughts on this particular case? Do you think she should continue the case or drop it? I mean what her in-laws did is disgusting but is a lawsuit worth it?
