The last thing we want is to feel crowded or unwelcome in our own homes. Some visitors, whether relatives or friends, overstay their welcome, and subtle indications aren’t always effective.
After the lockdowns were lifted, one Redditor reported that her husband’s family members continued to visit on a frequent basis. She felt as if she didn’t have enough time (or room!) to herself and was locked in a never-ending cycle of cooking and tidying up after her guests. She eventually had enough and took a significant step to gain control of the situation.
