Cats are known to be one of the most mysterious, moody, and bossy creatures. If you own a cat, you must know that cats are a complete package of great entertainment! Ever since this world came into being, cats have ruled our lives. Well, they command us, and sometimes when we are lucky, they pour their love on us. However, we never complain (not that we can). Instead, we want more. We are not all cat owners, and we are not lucky enough to experience all this, but to be honest, we all like to watch cats do their own thing.
Like humans get high and do crazy stuff, cats can also carry out the weirdest acts once they are high on catnip! Once your cat discovers the fun that comes with catnip, there’s absolutely no stopping from that point on. One of the biggest benefits of catnip is the calming effect it has on a cat’s body. Catnip contains nepetalactone, which is similar to the valepotriates found in a commonly used herbal sedative, valerian which can boost your cat’s mood and reduce their restlessness or anxiety. Apart from that, it’s one of the best entertainments for us humans to watch our furry little companions go all wild and crazy!
