1. OP and her husband were together for almost a year but when OP’s dad passed away, they broke up. Now 4 years later, they decided to try it again so her husband proposed it on the 2nd of their anniversary. OP said her family was super involved as well as her mother-in-law.
2. The day before the dress appointment OP fractured her ankle moreover, she said MIL didn’t come for dress shopping and that is because she didn’t want OP to outshine FG’s birthday.
3. OP said her MIL got distant after starting a new relationship and when they talked about the guest list it appeared that her ex-husband was on the guest list and she didn’t want him to come
4. OP said the meet-up was to convince them to not invite her ex
5. 3 weeks before the wedding MIL said she would only be at the ceremony moreover, she asked OP if they even wanted her to come since she would be there for 1.5 hours to which OP replied of course we want you to come.
6. At the wedding week OP got to know the restaurant reservation was canceled and it was never paid, OP got confused and discussed the issue with her husband and they decided to uninvite MIL because the rehearsal dinner getting canceled without their knowledge.
7. OP and her husband asked MIL that she change location even though she was the one who picked out the location to which she replied she wasn’t included in planning
