It is no mystery that men have a long history of getting what they want in the most undesirable way and then are easily able to get away with it. They may be uncomfortable to lots, but really casual for men. For most women, it is quite appalling because they have never expected such things to be treated so insignificantly. We have all heard about boy chat room talks, but today we will talk about office talks that were extremely uncomfortable and weird but men were still able to get away with it. However, it is a known fact that they should not be normalised as they are, and should not be gender-specific. It is also important to know that if it were women instead of men making snarky comments and doing despicable and unusual things, they would not have been let go and would have been forced to pay for their crimes.
The inequality between both genders still exists, even though we have come a long way, places like the workplace and schools etc still need a lot of time to give space and comfort to women. It is hard not to acknowledge these differences when they exist in such a vast majority and haunt everyone every day. Some of these posts show that men are able to get away with anything they want, and without a doubt make us angry!

“This happens in industries where one gender is a clear majority. I’m in nursing for example (94% female at my hospital) and I hear this stuff all the time.” This is what a person had to respond to this Reddit post.
15. Paedophile and disgusting!
This is a clear example of men’s power and how they are able to abuse and twist it for their own benefit. Trust me when I say this, it is not only extremely uncomfortable but disgusting as well! I wonder when will women be able to fight for themselves without the fear of getting fired or further getting exploited. It is quite unfair honestly if you think about it because these women are not even allowed to fight for themselves or even speak for themselves because when they do, they are made fun of or criticised. This is the most unsettling reality that has been normalised, the worst part is, it is forcefully normalised and no one does anything about it.
These Reddit posts made me realise that almost all women go through workplace harassment and unfair treatment because their supervisors are mainly men or women who can not do anything about it.
