Bad bosses have no feelings.
I really don’t think even these bosses realize the graveness of the problems they cause to people working under them. It’s that power of the seat, the highly inflated ego, and a sense of superiority over everyone else that clouds their ability to think rationally, judge a situation properly, and make decisions for the overall betterment of the business. These elements that I have just mentioned together create a very horrible boss whose only purpose is to rule and to have yes men around. Sorry, bad bosses but asking for a yes man can often result in a major backfire and we will be proving this today with the help of a story shared on an infamous subreddit known as Malicious Compliance. This subreddit is filled with stories by people who were forced to do something not right and in return, the person decides to comply in such a way that the demander regrets their every single decision.
In today’s story, OP got hit by a car thanks to the person, who had had one too many, driving it. OP was in no position to report to work the next day but the horrible boss did not allow him to take even one day off.
What happened next is down below for you guys to read and enjoy!
1. OP works for a company that provides medical services in case of emergencies.

2. OP got in an accident thanks to a driver of an unsound mind and got internal injuries…they can be really bad.

3. Oh, wow. We finally have a sweet HR making an appearance in a Reddit story for once but an equally worse Scheduling Manager, as per tradition, who ordered OP back to original, tough, duties.

4. My guy wanted a limping employee to travel 105 miles in one hour, on a truck.

5. I have never seen an HR this good saving an injured employee’s butt from a really stupid boss.

6. It seems to me that OP is up to something…something malicious.

7. OP went to the doctor and based on the diagnosis the doctor gave him a 3-weeks-leave note. The note that OP slammed right on the boss’ face.

8. This is beautiful. To see a boss, who thinks he has all the powers in the world, as a completely powerless person.

Can we just take a second and talk about this Human Resource Manager? Oh my, this person is an angel for how he dealt with the matter. If we take the stereotype into account, HR departments are generally not known to have a good reputation but this HR manager performed his duty right up to perfection.
Anyways, I really loved the story. That bad boss really had to be dealt with properly in order for such events to not happen in the future. All leaders must know that bad behavior with employees will only result in losses in the longer run.
Here’s what some of the Redditors had to say about the story:
9. HR deserves a raise.

10. Vocabulary correction squad on the loose.

11. When will these bosses understand that forcing is not the way to go about getting the work done?

12. The boss was destined to dig that hole, eventually.

13. This was hilarious.
Via EmpZurg_
14. As I said, bad bosses have no feelings.

15. We also had well wishes making sure OP was doing better.
