Nothing can match the sensation of sitting in a movie theatre, enjoying some warm popcorn and drinks while watching the movie you’ve been longing to see. Regardless of our age, many of us always look forward to having this experience. Because of this, many people consider working there to be a dream. Who wouldn’t like to receive complimentary tickets to the newest movies in tow. However pleasant that may sound, not everything about working in a movie theatre is rosy. We’re here to tell you that movie theatre employees don’t have as glamorous a life as the celebrities we see on the big screen.
See, we don’t know what’s going on backstage while some of us happily enjoy the movie. Let’s just say that a lot of the backstage activities are really wild. Movie theatre staff members never run out of stories to tell, whether about screaming, rowdy patrons, or strange things people do while watching movies. Some stories are entertaining, while others you kind of wish weren’t true. Even yet, some of these anecdotes are funny to hear, and Imgur user Hymeria has a tonne of them. Okay, we can legitimately claim to have shared some of the trauma that Hymeria and her coworkers have gone through. However, we bet that it falls short of real-world conditions.
