Often times we hear people say, “Oh, you look exactly like your parents.” And instantly we get this vivid image in our heads, of our body with our parents face on it. Thinking, “Oh! so that’s how I look like.” Well, that’s not exactly how things are. We tend to look alike but not exactly the same as our parents. But when it comes to cats, it is literally like looking at a smaller version of them. Same face, same eyes and exactly the same coat. Just smaller in size. Not to mention, the cuteness level of a kitten is 10 times higher than that of their parents.

Tonkinese cats are domestic cats that come in both short hair and long hair. They are a crossbreed between a Siamese and Burmese cat. These cats are very playful and goofy. Now, who doesn’t love a goofy little furball? They make a great pet and are very entertaining. This cat breed comes from Southeast Asia and is widely loved in Europe.

These are Van cats, one of the world’s most rare cats. They usually have heterochromia. Which means one eye is blue and the other eye is amber-coloured. These cats are Turkish cats and they are named after their birthplace, that is Lake Van in eastern Turkey. It is the largest lake of the eastern region of turkey. It lies between the provinces of Van and Bitlis. Van cats are also called swimming cats as they are often seen swimming in the lake. These cats usually have a white coat but sometimes they also have some color patches on the head and tail area. These cats are very affectionate and intelligent. Unlike any other cat breed, van cats love water. This means there is no fuss in getting them to shower. Overall, they make excellent pets.

Meet the Singapura momma and baby duo. This breed is one of the smallest cat breeds. They were originated from the United States but were exported to Singapore. In the 1970’s, they were again imported back to the US and they somehow managed the title of being Singapura cats. They are recognised for their big eyes and ears. These cats are very active and desire human interaction. They have a playful and curious personality.
