Reddit user District_Dan along with his girlfriend and dog booked an AirBnB property to stay for a couple of days in order to attend a friend’s wedding. They picked a pet-friendly property so they could bring their dog along without any issues and could leave it at the property by itself for a few hours during the period they would be at the wedding.
One day the host paid an unannounced visit to their house and noticed the dog at the property and said he was never informed they would be bringing a dog along. The couple offered to pay the pet fee but the host said it was alright and that he loved dogs. The matter got resolved there.
But when OP went to the AirBnB website to give a 5-star review to the host as well as the service but that’s when he saw the host had put in a negative review about him for bringing a dog to the property without notice. OP did not like that at all and took revenge by reporting the host for paying an unannounced visit to their property.

Wait a minute, this is so wrong. Why didn’t the host tell OP and his girlfriend beforehand that bringing the dog is not right? He said he loved dogs and was okay with it. OP even offered to pay the pet fee but he refused to take that as well. And then posting a bad review about OP for bringing their dog to the property and started whining about how it takes so much effort to clean up the mess dogs make.
