Photographer Takes Beautiful Images Of Stray Cats To Display Their Fierceness

Every animal deserves to be loved and appreciated.

Stray cats have a very difficult life. Out in the streets or in the wild, it is survival of the fittest. They have to tend to their own needs, find shelter, hunt for food and protect themselves from other animals or harsh weather conditions. Stray cats are not very different from house cats. They may seem aggressive at first, but that is only because they do not trust humans and are only trying to protect themselves. We should always be kind to stray cats. If we can not rescue them or take them into our homes, the least we can do is leave some food out for them or put up a little shelter space where they can rest that will protect them from harsh weather conditions like burning sunlight or cold rain. If you see a stray cat going into a garbage can, it is not because it is dirty. It is only hungry. So instead of shooing it away, why don’t you just offer it some food?

Gabrielius Khiterer is a 19-year-old photographer that lives in Lithuania. He took close-up pictures of some stray cats a while ago but did not seem to pay much attention to them at first. After a while, he looked back at the pictures and noticed that some of them were breathtaking and decided to share them with the world. This might help when it comes to people shoving away stray cats instead of loving or rescuing them. It is a great project and after seeing these photos, you will realise that all cats are beautiful, whether they are stray or living in houses. They all deserve a home and some love. As you can clearly tell, these cats are strays. They have some missing fur patches or rough hair that aren’t groomed. This is obviously because of the tough life that they have on the streets. Grooming themselves would obviously not be their first priority and they don’t have humans to take care of them. But aren’t they just beautiful? I mean, if I spotted any of these cats in my neighbourhood, I would take them in the very next minute. Scroll down to see more of them:
