Person Wants To Break Into Their Neighbors House To Steal Their Dog, Asks Reddit For Advice

Leaving a pet alone is not okay.

And when I say this, I don’t mean for a few hours. After all, we have errands to run and jobs to complete. So it is normal for people to leave their pets at home for a few hours every day. And it will depend on the animal if they remain okay without you. This is especially worrying for people who live alone or don’t have any friends or family nearby. Not only that but it also depends don’t the animals’ habits and if they are sued to their owner leaving.

Many pets have separation anxiety and tend to eat and drink less when their owner is not home which I can definitely relate with. I have a cat myself and I had to leave him at home for a few days when I went on vacation since the hotel didn’t allow pets but I did hire a pet sitter to come in every day and take care of everything. I could have sent my kitty to the vet for boarding but he tends to starve himself whenever he is not at home so this was my only choice. But even then, he didn’t eat as much as he used to. So I can definitely understand where the neighbors are coming from.

However, it also seems like they haven’t hired a pet sitter. You can read the whole story for yourself by scrolling below.

She might just be overreacting.

And the dog sitter might just come tomorrow.

But we don’t know that for sure.

I honestly wouldn’t know what to do in this situation.

As there is no animal control in her area.

And she knows that the police won’t be able to do much for a few days.

Some people did have good advice to give her.

While she isn’t in the wrong, the law may not like it.

I wish she could contact the authorities.

But she made it clear that they were closed.
