Weddings are a joyous occasion where family and friends come together to celebrate love and the start of a new life. Unfortunately, some guests can make it all about themselves, and that’s exactly what happened at this particular wedding. A bridesmaid decided to steal the spotlight from the bride and groom by announcing her own engagement during the reception, causing a commotion and taking attention away from the newlyweds. However, the bride sought revenge by announcing her pregnancy during the bridesmaid’s own wedding, leaving everyone stunned and causing a scene. Scroll down for this tit-for-tat story of revenge:

OP attended his cousin’s wedding last summer where the bride and her family have been close with OP’s family for a long time.
At his cousin’s wedding, a bridesmaid announced her engagement that stole the spotlight from the newlyweds, but despite feeling upset, the bride, Emma, did not make a scene and instead acted happy for the couple:
Sarah chose Emma as her maid of honor for her own wedding, which took place last weekend:
The fun began when Emma secretly replaced the white petals with blue ones in her much-younger sisters’ flower baskets at Sarah’s wedding and instructed them not to reveal it until it was time to scatter them down the aisle.
Sarah was confused and demanded an explanation for why there were blue petals but Emma’s sisters and the other bridesmaids remained tight-lipped:

One of the biggest sins at a wedding is stealing the spotlight from the bride and groom. This was exactly what happened to OP whose spotlight was stolen by her bridesmaid.
Emma displayed the final slide of her presentation and revealed that she was five months pregnant with a boy, which was the reason for the blue petals, and she displayed an ultrasound picture to announce the news to everyone.
The revelation of Emma’s pregnancy caused shock and mixed reactions, Sarah had a fit but those involved in the scheme cheered loudly:
