They had one job and they managed to mess that up too. Baking a cake can be quite a task, but besmirching it up even further requires extra effort that can only be expected from someone who has their alphabets in a twist. These cake decorators are either very sarcastically smart or just plain stupid, or they may just lack the basic decency of rechecking the final requested design.
Similarly, it is quite hard to judge whether it is the absence of brain cells that caused this catastrophe or misunderstood instructions. Needless to say, they have to be dumb enough to wreck fairly easy orders.
These cakes are not only giving a comical impression but show how thoughtless these cake decorators were. I can’t tell if the cake decorators have something against the orders, or do they just hate their profession with a passion. I wonder what their hiring criteria are because I don’t think they passed any checklist, especially if the choice of colors is judged. Cakes are molded to mark a special occasion, kind of fulfilling their purpose. These cake decorators had one agenda, and that was to make it unforgettable, I think each and everyone succeeded in their mission.

Okay, but seriously? The baker did it on purpose. There is no way they did not understand what the person was saying. I refuse to believe this.
