It’s a beautiful day and you decide to take a stroll with your 9-month-old daughter. You spot a cozy little coffee shop and decide to pop in for a quick caffeine fix. As you walk in, the sound of the coffee grinder assaults your ears. You wince but figure it’s just a temporary annoyance. However, your daughter wakes up and starts to cry uncontrollably. You try to calm her down, but the noise continues, and your patience starts to wear thin.

Finally, you ask the barista to stop the grinder as it’s disturbing your baby. She agrees and turns off the machine, and you manage to get your daughter to doze off again. But then, the barista turns on the grinder AGAIN, and your daughter starts to cry all over again. At this point, you’re frustrated and annoyed, and you snap at the barista. She justifies her actions, and the other baristas are cold to you when you receive your drink.

Later on, you email the manager to explain the situation, and the next day, you receive a reply apologizing for what happened and a free gift card. But when you tell your husband, he thinks you overreacted and shouldn’t have complained to the manager.

So, who was in the wrong? Keep on scrolling down to find out and we will see you at the end of the article.
