Dogs are friendly with everyone.
Even with cats who are supposed to be their natural enemy. Dogs can be friends with anyone if the other person tries hard enough. And this where these birds come in. The german shepherd has two best friends, a duck, and a pigeon. And they go on quite a few adventures together. So their human has taken to photographing them playing with each other and it is truly adorable. The german shepherd is named Vendetta and he is just the most lovable dog you have ever seen.
So if you are feeling down because of being stuck at home in lieu of the pandemic, we have just the right thing for you. After all, if anything can make a day better, it is dogs and birds playing around in a field of pink flowers. So scroll on below and take a look for yourself.
The dog is just always happy no matter what.
I’m Natacha, the (now 20-year-old) amateur photographer and blessed “mom” of Vendetta the old type of German shepherd and Lemony the Indian runner duck, with Grisella and Heldig, their pigeon friends, rescued as babies.
The duck is named Lemony.
And then there are the pigeons Grisella and Heldig.
The look in their eyes says everything.
From our trips to the ocean, the mountains, through the forest (where lies our secret spot with the loveliest little river), even to the city, we’ve been through a lot of discoveries together—my little flock will never cease to amaze me!
They roam all around the world.
From beaches to forests.
They feel at ease everywhere, especially in places with people, because they always become the center of attention.
The dog is always watching over them.
Lemony and Vendetta particularly love to be admired (it’s funny how Lemony always looks so dignified, like a dignified star meeting her fans), while for my pigeons… well, it’s not really their cup of tea, they prefer a quieter spot.
Just look at these friends!
The dog and the duck are particularly close.
And it truly shows in the pictures.
The most surprising thing about all of this is no matter how to set and calm your dog is, they are natural predators. And most of the time they want to hunt little things. To become friends with pigeons is quite surprising. While many people keep birds and dogs, it is necessary to train the dog first so they know they are not supposed to hurt the bird. However, it seems Natasha has mastered the art of training since the dog and the birds get along famously.
They help each other.
And will brighten each other’s day.
Even when things aren’t going their way.
They just want to experience the world together.
And they are clearly living a better life than most humans.
All of the animals were rescued or adopted which makes this even sweeter.
And these lovebirds are the two pigeons.
They apparently mostly like to spend their time together.
Which the duck and the dog are closer than ever.
This is how lemony looked when he was a baby.
But now he is all grown up.
