Filthy ‘Not-Golden Anymore’ Retrievers Living Their Dirtiest Lives (17 Pics)

We bath our dogs, dry their fur and chip their nails to make them look nice and clean. But guess what? Dogs are derpy. They would jump straight into the muddiest puddle and come back home a new dog dipped in chocolate. They enjoy rolling and in the mud and splashing it everywhere shamelessly. Making sure they are leaving a trail of muddy paws behind in order for their owner to track them if they are lost. Our goofy dogs have absolutely no regards for all the hard work we put in to keep them groomed.

It is easier to clean a doggo that already has dark colored fur. However, it is a tough job to clean a filthy doggo with a light color fur just like a golden retriever. They might require some extra scrubbing and a lot of shampoo. So many people around the globe share photos of their golden retrievers on the internet who desperately need a bath. Undoubtedly they all are extremely amusing, but here are 17 that we liked the best. Scroll down and enjoy photos of filthy ‘not so golden anymore’ retriever who are living their dirtiest lives.

Golden retrievers are a friendly dog breed. They are great with kids and other dogs. Although they are not an ideal dog for the novice dog owners as they are highly sensitive, the good news is that they are very easy to train and have an extremely affectionate personality. They are very energetic and require quite a lot of physical activity. Which is probably why they like rolling in the mud. Golden retrievers are fluffy and have the potential to gain weight. Because of too much fur, they shed a lot.

Is it a new dog? Hmm..
