Does anyone remember ceiling cat from the early 2000s?
He may not be around anymore, but he sure has inspired a few kitties. We’ve all heard the sentence “Curiosity killed the cat” at least once in our lives. If you think about it, it is actually very true. Cats are generally curious creatures. They like to observe things. If you take a cat to someplace new, it will sniff the entire place first and explore, then it will decide whether it is comfortable there or not. Once they are comfortable, they will pick a spot, either high up or somewhere in the corner and then watch everything from a distance. We don’t know why they do this, but it is part of their nature. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.
So what happens when you allow your cats to roam on top of glass ceilings?
So a Twitter user recently shared hilarious images of his friend’s cats stalking him through glass ceiling panels after his friend modified the attic of his shop.

Taiwanese Twitter user @SCMcrocodile tweeted the photos of the glass ceiling, with the cattos staring right into our souls. Needless to say, they have won the internet.
The store contains a small attic that is perfect for the store owner’s cats to explore. However, they don’t explore. They just stand there and stare at the people underneath them. The ceiling tiles were replaced with glass panels, so the people underneath can see the cats and vice versa. However, humans won’t judge the cats, but the cats aren’t going to spare the humans at all.
Just look at those little toe beans.

So this is what our furry feline cats look like from underneath when they’re sitting in loaf formation. Honestly, they are just adorable and hilarious at the same time. If you’re old enough, you probably remember the lolcat meme of the ceiling cat watching from above. These cats give off the same meme energy.
There are three of these furry babies, and they love silently judging you from up above.
The Twitter user also shared another picture of the cats causing absolute chaos just because they weren’t fed. These guys seem like a lot of fun. And they are definitely gaining a lot of attention on the Internet after going viral. They managed to get more than 178,900 likes and 67,000 retweets on Twitter. I guess they are Ceiling cat 2.0 and 3.0.
Here are the cats causing mayhem.
The place is a mess. I would hate to be the one picking that up.
There is a Youtube video about these kitties as well.
This is how people reacted to the cats:
Some people are feeling nostalgic.
These cats are trouble-makers.
Do you know what CCTV really stands for?
What a wonderful sight.
“I see no God up here, other than me.”
An excellent pun.
Here, have another one.
This just got scary.
