Game Night can be very important.
It may not seem like it but any Dungeons and Dragons aficionado will tell you seriously they take this game. Truth be told, I don’t know a whole lot about this game but what I do know is that it is incredibly creative and fun. D&D does require a certain sense of fantasy and letting go of reality so you can immerse yourself in whatever universe the Dungeon Master has created for you and that isn’t really possible when high-energy dogs are running around.
For players who are fully into roleplay, this can break them out of their character, and that is never fun. And while I adore dogs, I also understand that sometimes you just need a bit of peace and quiet. This is highly necessary when you are playing D&D after all. So this guy wanted his friends to find a solution for their two dogs that didn’t include the doggos running around during the game night. As you can imagine, this started causing a rift between the friends.

Many people take game night quite seriously.
They are old friends and they met up again.
So they decided to start up D&D again and it was going well.
The only thing that was causing issues were the two dogs.
They are adorable but they do cause a lot of interruptions.
So he decided to speak up and they did listen to him.
They tried his solution but it wasn’t working for them.
He gave them even more helpful ways to fix this but they weren’t open to any idea.
So he decided to give up.
The dogs apparently have a trainer but they still act like this.
The dogs apparently have a personal trainer but it really doesn’t seem like it. I understand that some dogs can be naturally high energy but dog owners do need to teach their dogs not to disrupt the atmosphere on game night. This won’t be easy but it is doable. Or they can always train them to be in a crate. There are many solutions to this problem but they aren’t willing to listen to any of them. They have to understand that not everybody is a fan of dogs and that is perfectly okay.

And many called out the owners for not being careful.
The dogs clearly need a better trainer.

Even people who love dogs would get annoyed.
And dogs keep disrupting the mood.
Every dog owner has this responsibility.
