HR Tells Employee Should Work Weekends If He Has Time To Complete Freelance Work, He Quits

Resignation letter! One of the hardest decisions for an employee, and the biggest problem for the employer.

If you are working in any company, that provides you with a work-life balance, then count yourself lucky. Because there are many companies or employers who don’t appreciate the employee’s hard work or the efforts they put in to make the company grow. There could be a variety of reasons for leaving a position or a job, with one of the most common being the attitude of the employer or management. As soon as management makes the decision to take the employees for granted, the firm begins to lose one of its most significant assets – its employees!

Obviously, the company can’t run without these people, these are the employees who work at the backend to make the company grow. When an employer fails to recognize and respect his or her employees, fails to create a work-life balance, overburdens them with work, and requires them to work on weekends, the company is said to be gaining a bad reputation in the community.

Just like this Reddit post shared by the user u/InfiniteMaf. Who quits his job just because of the attitude and management of HR. The HR made a request to this guy, upon which he decided to take obvious action.

Work is essential to live a better life or to survive in the community. However, working on something you enjoy makes it more rewarding and fun. Be it as a freelancer, as a part-time job, or working as a full-time position. You will not be tempted to resign or lose interest in your job because you love your work. Also, maintaining a healthy work-life balance and spending time with friends and family, dining out on weekends, and throwing a party with your friends are all important for a happy and joyous life.  Because of the stressful daily schedule, these activities just refresh your drained mind and relieve all of the worry and fatigue that has built up.

Like this guy who used to work on weekends as a freelancer and loves doing his job. However, one day the human resources department requested that he stop working on weekends and devote his spare time to developing and growing the company by formulating strategies and new plans. After he refused the request, the corporation asked him to comply, and as a result, one of the company’s most valuable employees resigned. The guy, of course, resigned and was lucky to find another position within a few weeks.
