If someone ever plans and pays for your trip, be kind enough to be thankful.
Some people are kind enough to plan family vacations for their family and they wouldn’t ask for any money. All you can do in return is be thankful and kind to them rather than complaining about every little thing and showing entitlement. A man planned a family vacation for his in-laws. He paid for the trip to Disneyland. He booked a Mansion with a pool, rented a truck and bought all the groceries. OP chose the nicest room for him and his wife. His FIL and MIL chose the pool house. As soon as they got into the house, everyone started having problems like why they didn’t get the nicest room. Why do they have to clean the house? Why do they have to cook some meals? Why can’t they just order the meals? It was the first day of the trip and OP’s in-laws were like why do they have to stand up in the lines? Why didn’t they take the tour guide etc.? OP was nice enough to book a mansion that everyone cannot afford. He booked a vacation for 10 people which everyone cannot afford. Yet his in-laws were so thankless. OP’s wife did the right thing to put her brother and SIL in their place. We hope they never take them on any vacation ever again.
10. OP’s wife joined OP for the night and told her brother that if they thought about the nicest room, they are going to a motel and everyone is paying for their meals. OP’s BIL is cleaning after every meal.
