30 Hilarious Comics Showing What Would Happen If Humans Behaved Like Cats

The elusive and unusual nature of cats will forever charm us, regardless of how strange or surreal their antics might be. If you have a cat, you’re probably used to all the weird things they do, and even find it somewhat charming, but what if you could be reminded of just how oddball our feline friends could be? This is where Caitlin Major comes in. Starting her comic career on Tumblr, she is now famous on Instagram with over 10k followers all of whom are dedicated fans of Manfried the Man.

In it, she takes the typical tropes of a cat that you may have seen in comic form in one shape or another and changes the place of the cat with the human. So instead of seeing a cat obnoxiously lick itself, we can now see… A human being doing it. It’s just such a surreal feeling and such a change from the norm that you can’t help but be taken aback, even if you are so used to your cat’s antics that you don’t blink at them anymore.

Because these aren’t exactly cats doing cat behaviours.

Cats licking themselves while you’re in the room can be pretty irritating the first few times they do it, but since they’re usually covered in fur, but Manfried the Man is not. His cat owner and his friends are not huge fans of Manfried grooming himself in the middle of the room in full view of everyone, which is pretty telling because that’s basically exactly what our cats do normally anyway.

Trying to rub a cat’s belly is a trap. Even though it looks really soft and fun to pet, the moment you do it, you’re going to get claws all over your wrists and hands. That’s what Manfried did here, but because he doesn’t have claws, he decided to simply punch his cat owner in the face. Is this what it looks like if cats were humans and humans were cats? I do not like it.
