We all anticipate Christmas parties all year long.
It is a beautiful and wholesome occasion where families, friends, and relatives get together to cherish happy moments and have some quality time together. The best part about Christmas, for me, is the dinner when everyone gathers around the dinner table to feast. And it’s not all about the delicious and mouth-watering food, it is the beautiful conversations that take place filled with jokes, offense, joy, and exclamations. Christmas Day is a day when no problems occur, and everything seems perfect. Unless, of course, one of your family members is a Karen whose sole purpose is to ruin it for everyone.
The story we have got for you guys today was taken from the sacred subreddit ‘Am I The A$$hole?‘. The story currently has got over 27,000 upvotes and almost 5,000 comments.
The OP shared how her sister-in-law, a fully evolved Karen tried to ruin the Christmas party for everyone after getting a fit. What caused the fit you wonder? Well, she went to OP’s bathroom and saw tampons there. This caused her to freak out.

NTA. I don’t think I even need to give a reason for what I voted for. It is so clear. First of all, it was OP’s house so the SIL had no right to be offended by anything, wherever it was. Secondly, they are freaking tampons in a bathroom, where else does she put them? OP clearly mentioned she had them in sight because of a very obvious reason; she needed them on a monthly basis. Everyone knows that the argument presented by SIL was so stupid.
I am glad OP asked her to leave but the real bummer here is that Ian also declared OP an AH. I really did not see that one coming. He should’ve supported his girlfriend here because she did no crime putting her tampons in her own bathroom.
The real AHs in this story were SIL and Ian.
