Kids clearly don’t let things go.
We as adults might think we hold grudges for a long time but it is nothing compared to how long kids can remember things. And there is no chance we won’t remind our kids of the mistakes they made even when we are all grown up. From reminding them about how they let us fall that one time or bumped our head in the doorway, this is all pretty normal. You might think this is not as usually but apparently, lots of people had stories to share.
So we obviously went on Twitter to scrouge for some of the best Tweets that relate to this. And let us just say, Twitter did not disappoint in this regard. After all, forgiving and forgetting are completely different things. Even if you forgive someone for something doesn’t mean you are gonna forget what happened. Even if it is about a thing that you don’t even remember happening and you just learned about it when your parent told you about it. They probably regretted it after.

I remember when my mother once let me fall from a slide by mistake, ofcourse. But I never let her forget it. Why? I honestly can’t give you an answer. But it is more a funny story rather than reprimanding someone. And who doesn’t want to have some fun bringing up childhood stories and feeling that nostalgia hit them? Because at the end of the day, this is all there is to it.
