Employee Calls Out Manager When They Don’t Give Their Workers A Raise

Most people are in a tight situation right now.

Which is understandable. This pandemic has been hard on everyone especially when we take into account the financial situation that everything is going through. So it is no surprise that people who are showing up every day and are trying their best, expect to be rewarded for their due diligence. However, that is exactly the opposite of what happened with this one guy who had been picking up everyone else’s slack.

And rather than getting what he deserved, he just got slapped with the ‘you were a good employee but do better.’ With the way things are going, that is just not good enough. And the manager wasn’t any help and wasn’t willing to compromise in any way. This whole scenario is actually from the point of view of the manager so that is definitely something we are not used to. Just scroll below to take a look for yourself.

They start out with the fact that they are a director and are trying their best to keep everything running.

They apparently gave their employee a very honest review but the worker wasn’t happy.

From what I can see, he probably got demotivated because he didn’t get what he expected.

It is honestly sad to see how much this sort of thing is happening everywhere. People are getting burned out because of their jobs and at the end of the day, they are not even getting anything in return, no matter what. That is what happened with this particular employee and I truly hope that he finds a better job soon enough because this company doesn’t deserve him.

And as you can probably imagine, people in the comments were not too happy with the Director.

Honestly, I think he finally learned how things work in the job market and now he is jaded like everyone else.

A year is a perfect amount of time to see what is happening with a particular employee and if they are worth it.

People also understand why they’re short-staffed with their raise policies.

People in the comments unanimously agreed with the fact that the manager is 100% in the wrong no matter what.

A person can be exceptional in their first year. And what he has done is nothing to scoff at.

While we don’t know everything, it does seem like this company doesn’t value their employees.

That is actually a very good question and I would love to know that as well.

It seems that he has already impressed everyone enough but the company is being cheap.

The whole scenario is simply strange.

Ofcourse, he won’t be able to do his work if he is being redirected to something else.

I only wish that this was satirical but this happens way too much in real life.

This shouldn’t have even been a question and yet here we are.

I hope the guy finds a better job where he is valued for his work ethic.
