Not all of us can keep cats.
No matter how much you may love a cat, that doesn’t mean you can keep them at home. Because while they are adorable and they do require less attention than dogs, that in no way means they are easy to care for. As it can be quite expensive to take care of a cat when you take into account the constant grooming, food, litter and everything else. So it is no surprise that many people choose to abandon their cats when they learn that cats aren’t just toys that you can take pictures of.
But that still doesn’t excuse a person who abandons a helpless being in less than considerate conditions. However, that doesn’t mean that you cant have a good reason behind it. That is the sort of story that we are going to ee today. While this is quite heartbreaking to read, we also need to pay more attention to it so we can understand where this particular person is coming from. This is the box that came with the cats.
And it is clear that the person behind the box really cared for their cats.
However, before judging them, spend a little bit of time reading the notes they left with the cat.
It is clear that it broke their heart to leave their world behind but they had no other option.
But they wanted their cats to have a better life and this was the only way.
Kristi’s Kats began as an effort to help the feral cat colony in my neighbourhood.
Kristi’s Kats, Inc. is really about helping the less perfect cats find their home. Sometimes they just need time to heal, or time to get used to people, or recover from an illness. Sometimes they have lost an arm or a leg, or even an eye.
So while they may not look or sound like other “normal” cats, these cats have so much to give. They just want a lap and a home to call their own. Someone that can provide the one-on-one attention and love. Given a chance, these cats will be your best friend forever! –Kristi’s Kats
Just look at these adorable kittens! They look quite healthy.
As far as reason goes for abandoning a bunch of kittens, I say this person has a pretty good reason. They clearly had no other way to keep the cats. And they didn’t have enough time to find homes for all the cats. So they did what they thought was best at the moment. And I would say they found a great place to leave their cats at.
And thankfully the rescue centre is already trying to find a home for the myriads of cats and kittens.
And some of them have already found a loving home.
Hopefully, all of the cats continue to remain healthy and happy.
