Guy Maliciously Complies With His Ex Wife’s Lawyer After They Tell Him “Or Else”

Divorces can be tough. No one should ever have to go through this phase of life because when you get married to the love of your life, you truly promise each other with all heart to be together forever and make all sorts of compromises to keep the relationship alive. Yes, the complexities of this relationship cannot be ignored but love should always supersede every other emotion. Yes, fights happen, and yes the couple does decide to not talk to each other for days, weeks at times. But these matters should always be resolved and all efforts should be made to make sure things don’t go towards ending things forever.

Unfortunately, though, there are some times when you have to take this big step and divorce your partner. I like to think people only take this decision for the greater good. Divorce battles can get really heated and a lot of arguments can take place through the process. And the battle may also lead to the attorneys having a really tough time going through a challenging phase. They often get stuck in the middle of an argument between the couple and get squished between them because each attorney has to support their client.

In today’s story, something similar happened. Reddit user FederalAnt9 shared that he and his wife were in a divorce/custody battle. His wife had hired an attorney whereas OP represented himself as he couldn’t afford an attorney. The ex-wife lied to her attorney that OP was laundering money and was hiding his actual income to avoid taxes. Her attorney then asked OP to send in all his financial documents from the past 3 years. OP decided to maliciously comply with this demand. He started gathering every single document he could possibly find that he could link with finance, even a McDonald’s receipt he found that was 5 years old. After gathering all of the documents, he faxed the big pile to his wife’s attorney’s office.

The faxes just kept coming in over and over again until the attorney made a request in writing to stop it. He also had to sign it.

9. Every single piece of paper that OP could link to the term “finance” got scanned that day by him.

10. That is what you refer to as the “cherry on top”.

Wow! Just wow! I actually want to stand up and salute OP for this. This is maliciousness on another level. Good luck to the attorney’s office managing all those faxes. They will not be able to use that device until OP decides to stop sending in faxes. It is time for OP to play around a bit as he has all the power now. This is one of the best malicious compliance I will probably ever read.

Let’s see what happened next. Scroll down below to continue reading.

11. For some reason the fax would keep failing to send so OP set the system to unlimited tries and eventually the fat document went through.

12. The fun part is the fax machine kept sending faxes again and again and it became a hassle for the attorney’s office to manage the faxes coming in. Hilarious!

13. OP told the attorney’s office he was simply complying with what his ex’s lawyer told him to do.

14. OP told them the faxes will not stop until the attorney tells him in writing to make them stop and till he reimburses all the costs.

15. The attorney finally comes on call and tells OP to stop faxing but he decided to stand his ground and demanded he gets told to stop in writing.

16. The attorney signed and sent the letter. I see this as an absolute win!

Cat tax.

“I adopted a Cat and he has just wanted nothing to do with me. Eats and then hides. Today was a very bad day for me personally. I happen to just be laying on the ground and he appeared letting me finally pet him.”
