1. This story took place way back in 2007 when OP was in his early twenties

3. OP was driving to work one morning and pulled up at a crosswalk
4. Without warning OP’s passenger door opens and a gentleman hoped in!
5. He was a sweet-faced, white-haired senior!
6. OP stared in shock and stumbled over his words
7. The OP saw the taxi rank near the crosswalk
8. He had a big cheery smile!
9. OP shrugged and said, “Uh sure thing.”
10. He said taxis are much quicker these days!

13. OP and Jerry chatted the whole way and he was so taken by how upbeat and cheerful he was
14. They pulled into the offloading zone outside the train station
