Entitled Woman Creates A Scene As She Mistakes A Registered Nurse For An Employee At A Store

Normally in the stories we read about people mistaking shoppers for employees, the mistake is made based on either that person wearing the same colored clothes as all the other employees, or maybe looking similar to the employee they previously know. It is something along those lines that makes the mistaken person think that the shopper is an employee. And that is how the story starts and the craziness begins.

However, if you see someone in a store wearing hospital scrubs with a stethoscope on their neck too, I don’t think in any way you can mistake that person for a store employee. It just isn’t possible. But for entitled Karens, such an event to is possible.

In today’s story, we have Reddit user BookwyrmsRN who is a registered nurse. After a long shift at work, he decided to make a stop at a store, on his way home, to grab some food. As he was entering the store, he spotted an elderly couple trying to get a heavy TV into their car. Knowing they would never be able to do it without breaking their spines, OP decided to help the couple out for which he got sincerely thanked.

This event was noticed by an entitled woman who mistook OP for an employee and approached him and wanted him to load her stuff in her car for her too. OP explained to her multiple times that he does not work at the store but she just wouldn’t listen. The matter from that point on only got worse.

1. Yet another “I don’t work here” story…people seem to be making quite a lot of mistakes these days.

2. OP is a night-time charge nurse. Dang, they really do work a lot.

3. After being done with his shift, ready to start on another in 9 hours OP took a stop at a store.

4. OP is in his scrubs and I am sure they distinguish her pretty well from the employees working at the store.

5. OP saw an old couple struggling to load a TV they bought in their car while walking toward the store.

6. OP offered to help the couple and easily loaded the TV into their car for them.

7. While the couple was thanking OP, that is when the major event took place, for which we are all gathered here.

8. EB, a fully evolved Karen arrived at the scene and interrupted the three having a conversation.

9. EB thought OP was an employee helping the old couple and now she required his services too.

10. OP tries explaining it to RB again that he doesn’t work at the store but she won’t listen. Nothing new from a Karen.

11. Of course. Things were bound to get worse when we have a Karen on the floor.

12. Unfortunately OP couldn’t save it and the stuff get ruined. EB is fuming but the mistake was hers.

13. She blames OP for doing it and threatens to get him fired. She still believes he works there.

14. OP finally loses his sh*t too…which, honestly, is fair after all the drama Karen tried creating.

15. Things are getting heated up as the woman grabs OP from his sleeve trying to yank him.

16. OP finally raises his voice to let her know once again that he doesn’t work at the store…this time with a little diss involved in the mix as well which left EB speechless.

17. The manager arrives at the scene and EB quickly moves to him to complain about OP breaking her bookshelves.

18. You really have to be that thick in the head to not realize a person wearing scrubs with a stethoscope around their neck can not be a store employee.

19. The old man, OP helped load his TV in his car, finally decided to get involved, and explained everything to the manager. The manager apologized both to OP and the couple for the inconvenience.

20. The manager then deals with EB as OP stands there and watches it happen, not in the best of moods.

21. EB, knowing there isn’t much left to salvage out of the situation anymore, asked the manager to just load her stuff in her car.

22. As OP was finally going to enter the store he got stopped by the elderly lady he helped who thanked him once again for helping.

23. While shaking hands with OP, he feels she is giving him something. She tells him to only look at what it is after she leaves.

24. The old lady leaves and so does EB after her stuff gets loaded. She didn’t even thank the manager or apologize to OP.

25. The package the old lady gave him contained some screws and hardware. She stole them out of EB’s ripped boxes while she was too busy scolding OP.

26. The old really deserves an award for this. What an end to the story!
