Entitled Mom Mistakes Customer For An Employee At Target, Gets Mad For Not Being Told Where The Bathroom Is

Bathroom Target

Some stories have a very widely recognized uniform because of its vivid colors and simplicity. Take Target or Best Buy for instance, one is red and khaki and the other is blue and khaki. It is very easy for a customer to wear those two colors and enter the respective store and get stopped by other customers thinking they are an employee of the store. So wearing those colors to such stores should definitely be considered a mistake on your part. If you don’t want to get stopped, wear some other colors, just not those easily recognizable uniform colors.

In today’s story, that is what happened with Reddit user u/gfjq23 who mistakenly wore a red shirt and khaki pants to a Target. OP kept getting stopped by people but once she would tell them she doesn’t work at the store, they would just laugh it off and she would proceed with her shopping. However, this one mom just didn’t want to listen after she approached OP frantically asking where the bathrooms were as her kid was about to have an accident. OP told her she had no idea and that she didn’t work there. The mother didn’t believe that and created a scene for absolutely no reason. She even got the manager involved who after seeing OP told the woman the same thing, that she doesn’t work at the store.

Oh my, this comment section is ruthless. But this mom absolutely deserves all the heat that she is receiving. What was the point of getting rude? When OP told her she had no idea where the bathroom was, she could’ve simply approached another person, an actual employee. She can’t be that unlucky that the next person she would’ve approached would also be a customer wearing reds and khakis. But no, entitled people always have to create a fuss, that’s what they are known for.

9. Just accept the answer and move on, what is so hard in that?

13. People who go to Target or Best Buy wearing similar colors to their uniforms should at least accept that they made a mistake, the way OP accepted it. You are bound to get stopped.
