1. OP and her boyfriend have been together for 3 years and they live in NYC OP’s boyfriend makes over 200k a year while OP is studying for her master’s and doesn’t have any income
2. OP’s mother has been supporting her financially by paying her metrocards and healthcare expenses and OP relies on loans moreover, before she moved in with her boyfriend there was a roach infestation at her apartment so her boyfriend asked her to live with him.
3. OP wanted to live in a cheaper place like Queens or Brooklyn but her boyfriend likes this place and she moved there, all of a sudden OP’s boyfriend asked her to pay half of the rent which is 2500$. OP got confused as she mentioned that she wouldn’t be able to pay the rent before.
4. OP told him that she couldn’t afford 2500$ a month and he said she was leeching off him so OP told him he should find someone within the social class so he doesn’t have to worry about a gold digger, OP stayed at her friend’s place for a few days while figuring out what to do next.
