24 Times Our Pets Grew Up To Be Much More Bigger Than We Initially Thought

Time flies by.

Most people use this statement when talking about their kids. However, it usually applies more to animals. As we are all well aware our pets grow up much faster than humans. It is probably because they don’t live as long as humans and that means we never have as much time with them as we think. Within a single year, a cat or a dog become fully grown adults. And the size difference is always quite surprising.

I mean it seems like only a few months ago when they were tiny creatures and they couldn’t even walk. But now they are jumping around throwing everything to the ground from the highest shelves. And while I am not saying that they become less cute as they grow older, I have to admit, I miss when they were tiny babies and needed our help for everything. And you can see some transformations for yourself by scrolling below.

A month ago, I didn’t know we got a horse puppy. Jeez, the amount of food she eats! Her height is 6’4’’ and apparently this isn’t the limit. Where is the switch?

10 puppies were thrown into the trash heap near our house. I was told that they would grow up to be somewhere around knee-high. I went there, put my hand in the box, and chose whoever grabbed my finger first. Hanzo is still growing.

#5 I guess the cat still likes to get on people’s shoulders.

It honestly feels like they grow up in a blink of an eye. I remember the day I brought my kitty home. He was just a tiny thing and so timid. But now he loves jumping up on high shelves and throwing everything to the ground and asking for nose boops. However, this is one of those things that is the most rewarding when it comes to being a pet owner. You grow old alongside them and who doesn’t want that?

#13 Just look at that smile!

Katyuna when she was 4 hours old and at a year old. Her mission is to bite and scratch all the bipeds, drop everything, declare war on the Plastic Bag Monster, and win. The peak of her creativity was when I sat down for lunch and found clods of soil mixed with ivy fragments falling on me and my food. We love this pest.

#18 I bet nobody expected this.

A neighbor’s cat gave birth in our woodshed. We kept one kitten for ourselves and named him Pafnutia. Soon, he’ll be 7 years old. He is fluffy, has a long tail, and takes up most of the bed.

#23 It doesn’t matter what breed he is at the end of the day.

We adopted him when he was a month-old baby. In his first days at home, he was afraid of our cat. At first, we thought we had a Jack Russell terrier, then we hoped that he was a beagle. Now he is a big fool, who will soon be a year old, and he’s still growing.

#24 he looks quite proud of himself here.
