Drunk people don’t make the best decisions.
When you are hammered, the part of your brain that stops you from making stupid decisions is usually turned off. And we don’t usually have the best control over our emotions when we are drunk. So it isn’t surprising that a lot of us just end up doing something we regret later on. That is how people end up texting g their ex’s who they have been avoiding till now. While it is true that a lit bit of alcohol tends to loosen us up which means we act on our emotions much more but this also has the side effect of making us incredibly selfish.
So just like how driving and alcohol don’t mix, neither do phones and alcohol. Because as we all know once you post something on the internet, it is there forever. And while we have all accidentally posted something weird on the Internet, what we do when we are drunk is much more different. And that is what these people ended up doing. They probably should have paid more attention when texting but alcohol does make you dumber so this checks out.
