Our pets are part of the family.
We as humanity have come a long way especially when it comes to treating animals with a modicum amount of respect. I am not saying there aren’t people who treat animals horribly but so many of us treat our pets like family. They are after all with us all the time and are loyal to us even when we make mistakes. Not only that but they are loyal and will do whatever they can for their human.
So it is always beautiful to see people growing up with their pets. I wish I had a pet when I was a kid so I would have a companion. However, I do have one and it is heartwarming to see your pet grow up alongside you as you learn everything about each other. After some time, you learn what the other wants without even saying anything and that is what makes this friendship so lovely. So today we have some pictures that show this sacred relationship.

#3 Kimba came into her life when she was 8 and now the kitty is 16 years old.

Pets are not only great but there are also some statistics that show people who grow up with pets are much more social than those who don’t have pets. Not only that but pets are also helpful for your mental health and people with pets are overall less likely to suffer from severe depression. There is a reason people with depression swear by having an animal companion and how it has helped them so much. Basically, we don’t deserve animals. However, we do have them so why not make the best of it?

#11 They got to spend 17 beautiful years with each other.
