Museum Asks People To Recreate Paintings With Three Things Around Them, Here Are The Results

Being an artist is more of a gifted skill than learned. It sure does improves with time and one may master this skill but this mostly comes naturally. The flow of the brush and the idea of the painting is just like poetry. It all comes from within. The history of art dates back to the early years of mankind. There have always been people with this gifted talent who produced some of the most astonishing masterpieces that are still the finest embellishment of the art museums today.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic situation, everyone is quarantined in their homes and all the public places are closed to prevent more and more people from getting infected. Staying at home is not as easy as it seems for the majority of people. Some people have a small living space and some just can’t stay in one place for long. Even those people who enjoy living indoor all the time, are fed up as they just can’t go out for a change and there probably is nothing much to do to break the usual routine as all the recreational spots and public places are closed. To kill the monotony, Los Angeles’s famous Getty Museum came up with an ingenious idea and posted a challenge on their official twitter for its fans. Asking them to recreate some of the most famous paintings in the museum by using any three household objects. The responses were pretty stunning. Scroll down to take a look.

#16 This painting is channelling our inner self.

People are so creative. There is so much talent out there, just fewer platforms to bring that out. Being artistic has no link or association with having a degree in arts. You can be a doctor or an engineer and still paint in your spare time. You can be developing some next level artificially intelligent software, illustrating/animating outstanding characters for a game or an animated movie and still be good at painting. It all comes to you from the inside. We all have a special skill that defines us and it may not be what we choose to do professionally. Art is independent whereas other things may require art to coexist.

#17 Oh my my, looks like British Vs American breakfast tray.
