Animals have unique characteristics.
Even though we like to think that most animals in one species are similar but that is not the case. Just like humans, they too can have genetic mutations and while they may look weird or out of the ordinary, I think it just makes them that more special. Don’t believe me? Well, don’t worry, we have the proof right here! From very floofy tails to dogs with weird eyebrows, these unique animals are truly adorable.
And while we have become used to cats or dogs looking a certain way, just because a kitty has vitiligo doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with him. So that is why we have compiled pictures that show some of the most unique looking features that an animal can possess. Just scroll below to take a look for yourself. However, do remember that there are only animals that are normally kept as pets included. Maybe someday we will make a list for wild animals, just not today.
#1 This is actually a hairless hamster wearing a sweater.
#2 I think the tail might be bigger than the actual dog.
#3 This is what we call a reverse panda.
#4 An extra finger never hurt anyone.
#5 Put some lipstick on those lips and you are done!
#6 And here I thought these only existed in the Fable series.
#7 Who is the coolest looking bird?
There are actually a lot of animals in shelters that don’t look ‘normal’ so they don’t get adopted as much. However, people are becoming more and more accepting and going after animals that many may not adopt. After all, it is the love and companionship they give you that matters not how they look.
#8 At least he constantly looks happy with those eyebrows.
#9 What am I even looking at?
#10 Okay, those might be the most adorable ears I have ever seen.
#11 This little kitty was born with two paws attached.
If you are thinking of getting a pet, please adopt one rather than buying. Since animals at the shelter desperately need a home and they will forever be grateful to you. And to take it a step further, go for the animal that has been there the longest.
#12 Now he can be booped twice.
#13 This is actually not an alien but a cat with trisomy.
Most people would say this resembles down syndrome and while that is true, cats actually can’t have down syndrome.
#14 And last but not least, a cat with vitiligo.
