I know this is hammered into everyone’s head seeing as how many people say it. However, for some, they still choose to buy an animal just because they want to buy a particular breed or they don’t like the look of shelter pets. People these days are obsessed with looks and that extends to animals as well. Animals that end up in shelters are usually suffering from something, malnourished, wild, or even abandoned by their previous owners.
But people don’t pay attention to that. Some just want babies just because they look adorable or think getting a pet from a shelter is too much hassle. Well, today we are going to break that stereotype. Even though people have been turning more and more towards adoption or rescuing pets, it is still not enough as many pet shops and illegal breeders exist. Perhaps, one day there won’t be any but for now, we can take a look at some adorable rescued pets that found their forever home.

You might think that because of covid, shelters might be having an easier time. After all, there has been a recent surge in people getting pets to keep them company during these lonely times. However, weirdly enough, shelters are at an all-time maximum nowadays. So even if you can’t adopt a pet, perhaps think of volunteering and helping a rescue close to you if you have the time. They need all the help they can get after all.
