So the story here today is that OP wanted some Indian food and she looked on the internet and found a restaurant near her home. OP hasn’t eaten there before. The restaurant’s menu had great deals for instance you can have Tikka masala with rice and nan for dollar 20. So OP decided to call the restaurant to order and when she ordered the deal she was looking for, the woman on the call said it will be $40 for the order she placed. OP got confused and said the website was showing the same deal for 20 dollars why should I pay you double?

The woman responded in an absurd way laughing why would you check the website? It is outdated like 2 months old and said you should call us and check. OP responded that people would get frustrated like this when they would find out about the prices, and they should simply update the rates on the website. The woman became angry for no such reason and said there was no reason to be Karen about it. After that OP hung up on the call and posted in this subreddit to have people’s opinions about if she’s Karen for saying them to update the website.
