This horrible boss instantly regretted firing the security guard.
Horrible bosses don’t think before taking the action. Any problem that comes up requires a thorough examination before a decision can be taken. I read about the decision-making process. It isn’t as simple as you think. You have to choose the best alternative and it’s an 8-step thing and all. Basically what I am trying to say here is taking decisions at the workplace requires good brains and horrible bosses don’t have one. That is precisely why they make terrible decisions and decisions that they instantly regret right after taking them. A good letter understands the value of every single employee working on the station and deals with them all in a way that they stay motivated and work on their full potential. Any one of you guys who has been a part of the corporate world would know how bad bosses have no regard for employee satisfaction.
Today’s story is about a bad boss who regrets their firing decision almost instantly after firing the employee. Reddit user u/kayasha shared that they worked for a security company that didn’t have the best of bosses. In an instance, OP got fired but soon after they were requested to rejoin and complete their scheduled shift. OP, however, was not in the mood to return and decided to maliciously comply with their termination letter.

1. Who do you think would care about a company that just fired them? No one.

2. OP worked night shifts as a security guard at a trucking company.

3. Because OP was working the night shift, they had other responsibilities too because there is less truck traffic at night.

4. Their trucking company client though had a problem with OP.

5. OP explained how they worked with complete dedication and the complaint about them being on the phone all the time was just some BS.

6. OP also explained how they only smoked during their breaks and the spot was close enough to their booth to keep an eye on it for any suspicious activity.

7. Goes on to show how the client was just trying to cause problems for OP and that too no absolute reason.

8. I actually cannot believe they terminated OP for the dumb complaints their client made.

This is so going to backfire. Firing an employee just because someone told them their employee isn’t doing their job is so unfair. They didn’t conduct any inquiry on OP before taking such a huge decision. You will see how the director will instantly regret this decision and OP would be the only one smiling at the end of this event.
9. The director ended up firing OP without informing his supervisor. They weren’t prepared at all.

10. Time came for OP to leave and he was happy about it. That’s because a beautiful maliciousness was building up.

11. The director went crazy on OP about him leaving without completing their time, not knowing that both parties had signed a letter that only obliged him to work for one week.
Via u/kayasha
12. The company had no one to fill in OP’s spot so they decided to contact him. He, though, complied with his termination letter right to the t.

13. With only one employee leaving, which wasn’t even his own choice, the entire schedule fell on itself and ASD Security began to suffer.

14. These are the slots they had to fill in after OP left.

15. This is what happens when you try to get someone fired for no reason.
