Work can be extremely stressful.
When most people think of work, they envision a 9-to-5 job where nothing happens and you spend all day dealing with rude customers. However, a lot of crazy things can happen, and you get to experience a lot at any job you do. This is especially true for jobs that require you to interact with other people. You see a lot, from dealing with a crazy Karen who wants to return used undergarments to someone attempting to steal something right in front of your eyes, and these are just a few ‘common’ examples.
So it’s not surprising that when a Twitter user asked people to share their wildest work stories, people had a lot to say. While there were hundreds of responses, we chose some of the best to compile here for your reading pleasure. Unless you’ve always worked from home, I’m sure you’ll find some of these relatable. Some of these were the employee’s fault, while others were just plain weird or funny. These aren’t stories about toxic workplaces or anything of the sort. These are mostly strange stories that might make you laugh.

If I had to pick one absurd event from my previous job, it would be the time I saw a man walk through a glass door. He had an argument with the boss and was thus quite irritated as he was leaving the office. The glass sliding doors had just been cleaned, so they were spotless. As you might expect, he smacked into the glass door before it could open. And, yes, the door shattered into tiny pieces. He seemed fine and appeared more embarrassed than anything else. After that, he simply walked away.
