1. It’s a story about May the mermaid who decided it is time to enjoy the feeling of true love.

2. May’s mother was very keen on not letting her interact with human life but she always had this curiosity to feel what it feels to interact with them.

3. She saw a human and felt something she hadn’t before. She found him very handsome.

4. She wanted to do exactly what her mother wanted her to avoid. Get closer to humans.

5. She got very close to her and admired him to the fullest until he caught sight of May and panicked.

6. The handsome man tripped over and the mermaid got really nervous.

7. The man crashed right into the water and there they were, looking right at each other and he wasn’t scared of her at all, as she was expecting him to be.

8. The spark that ignited in her heart certainly did ignite in that man’s heart too as they held hands for the first time and were ready to be friends.

9. She had never enjoyed herself more than this ever in her life. Every time he would get close, her heart would warm up and she would feel all the tingles in her stomach.

10. Their bond grew so fast that May had no time to think and in the back of her mind, she kept feeling something was not right with this reality.

11. She just couldn’t get to what the problem was as his man suddenly sank right into the water after their touching interaction.

12. But she had never felt the happiness that she felt with him, so she committed herself to save him, no matter what.

13. She managed to get him out and prayed to the Gods of Ocean to save his life.

14. At was it this moment that she realized they were not alone. Some people, God knows who they were, were chasing them.

15. She had no idea why they were chasing her as she tried to spring off panicking and full of stress.

16. Unfortunately, they caught May and they couldn’t believe what they were seeing. She was a mermaid.

17. And here comes the big bomb…that handsome man who changed the world for May was actually the mastermind behind all this, they wanted to catch her.

18. It was at this moment that May realized her mother was right and that she should’ve abided by what she said. Humans are not healthy.

19. The cries of May were enough to melt that man…or were they. He escaped the space with May. Was he saving her? Or was this just part of their bigger plan?

20. He was actually trying to save May. That spark that ignited that day had turned into a full-fledged fire, a fire to be with her, and hers.

21. “Bang!” May heard a loud, thunderous sound as she saw her handsome savior fall right in front of her. They had seen them and had shot the man.

22. May was overloaded with hope. It was love driving her this time as she decided she would settle for no less and prayed once again for his life.

23. She was committed that he is going nowhere, that they are destined to be together.

24. And it worked. He was back, eyes in eyes. Love superseded everything at that moment.

25. She kept reassuring to him, very politely, that she admires what he did for her and that she is going no where.

26. He finally wakes and the big wide smile comes rushing back on May’s face. He really does mean everything to her.

27. But there romance was shortlived once again as those hunters had returned on their hunt for May and maybe this time, for her love too.

28. They tried to seek refuge, somewhere no one would be able to find them. May guides the way as the two quickly make a move.

29. May takes them to what she thought was a very safe place. They were at a very sacred spot for mermaid as she was about to tell her a very big secret related to this gorgeous flower they were sitting around…

30. …But she got interrupted by that hunter who had found them both and they had no where to go.

31. His eyes met that gorgeous flower and his greed went beyond the mermaid. He went in to grab the flower with an ambition to sell it and become rich.

32. That’s when May screams that the flower contains her life and there she would not exist if that flower dies. That was enough to get his blood rushing as he smacked the hunter.

33. But it was too late, the flower had been plucked out of the root. It was dead and there was no hope left for May now. She was going to die.

34. She was laying lifeless in her arms and he could do nothing about it. He kept crying out loud as a piece of his heart had now shattered forever.

35. She had saved him before with the power of pure love so he decided to give it a shot as well. After all, no one knows the true power of love.

36. It was at this moment that he referred to her as “his” for the first time since they met. Death had no right to separate them.

37. And he did it. He proved his love was true and it brought May right back to life.

38. And that’s not all love did that day…May, the mermaid of Lily Lake was in for a whole new adventure.
