30 Technical Support Workers Share Worse And Hilarious Things They Saw On Duty

Technical support workers go through a lot in terms of what they see every day.

To be honest, every child or grandchild is a technical support worker in the eyes of their parents and grandparents. This is due to their limited capacity of understanding how technology work. Once my grandfather brought his laptop to me that had a black screen on it. He wanted me to fix it and he had high hopes that I would easily do it. All I did was tap on the trackpad and the laptop came to life from the sleep mode that it went into after sitting idle for 5 minutes (that’s the setting it was on). I set the laptop on “never go to sleep” mode and since then he hasn’t faced this issue. He thanked me and also gave me money. But all of this restarting the internet router or turning a laptop on is easy work. The real technical support people who work out there resolving real issues come with far worse situations than the ones I just mentioned.
