An independent contractor or a freelancer is a person who provides his/her services to another person/company as a non-employee.
If you are hiring an independent contractor, please be clear that they are not your employees and are not obliged to the rules of your company. You can’t expect them to work on your terms. Today, we have a story of an independent contractor who put up a petty tyrant in his place with his perfect reply. Being an independent contractor is great. You can say NO to the other entity whenever you wish to. You are not obliged to listen to their shit, you are not liable to their terms of organization. They can not fix your working hours. You work according to you and if you get a petty, horrible tyrant, you have the choice to say “No” to them and nothing is better than that. You don’t need them, they need you for the job. You have plenty of clients to work with who can pay you better while displaying a professional attitude rather than expecting you to wake up at 9 AM in the morning for the meeting stand-up call. It’s childish to expect such a thing from a freelancer. Scroll down to see some of the hilarious edits by people.
