Mother Kicks SIL Out For Throwing Away Her Child’s Baby Products

We all have our preferences. Sometimes they are built upon traditions, sometimes on likings and dislikes, and sometimes based on the financial situation. In either case, preferences should be respected. Especially when a parent has set them for their child. So for example, one mother may prefer feeding formula milk to her child while the other may prefer feeding her infant breastmilk. Both may have their own reasons for it and they should be respected. You are not supposed to impose what you prefer for your child on another mother.

However, in today’s story that is exactly what happened. Reddit user u/CrunchySiL is a 19-year-old who lives with her parents and has a 3-week-old little baby girl. She prefers feeding her baby formula milk and uses disposable wipes and nappies. Her SIL does the exact opposite. She breastfeeds her 8-month-old child and uses reusable wipes and nappies. Their own preferences and each should respect the other’s, right? But SIL disapproves that OP uses disposable baby products. So much so that one time she threw away all of OP’s baby’s disposable products and replaced them with reusable ones.

What else did SIL think? Of course, OP was going to like it. SIL poked her nose into OP’s business for absolutely no reason. I would suggest OP stay on top of SIL till she replaces all the disposable baby products she threw away or pays for them so she can buy new ones.
