Hollywood is not all glamour.
There is a lot of hard work that goes into creating a movie. I know a lot of people put celebrities on a pedestal but they’re only ordinary human beings with a ton of money. And it is their job to look glamorous at every moment. However, you can’t expect them to be perfect. And that goes for when they’re filming a movie Sometimes they have to wake up super early in the morning because that is the light they need for a particular scene.
Other times they need to film uncomfortable scenes with their co-actor even though they might be married. This all seems simple enough but it is never as it seems when it comes to Hollywood. But the audience usually doesn’t get to see what happens behind the scenes. That is unless the actors come out and share some hilarious tidbits about their time on set. And that is what we are going to be talking about today.
These actors had to deal with some uncomfortable moments while filming and they were quick to share their thoughts. So scroll below to take a look.
#1 Dane Cook and Kate Hudson (My Best Friend’s Girl)
There is a very charming kissing scene in this movie but in Dane Cook’s words, her beauty could not help her bad breath. She apparently purposely ate onions beforehand.
I did a movie with her, My Best Friend’s Girl, and I think she purposely ate like a feast of onions before our scene. I had to burn her on that one!
#2 Zac Efron (Baywatch)
Whatever you may have thought of the new reboot of Baywatch, what you might not have known is the tumble Zac Efron took while filming the iconic running scene. According to Zac, he was repeatedly trying to think cool thoughts but ended up taking a fall.
#3 Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games)
Liam and Jennifer are great friends in real life but that doesn’t mean that she wanted to kiss him. And that is how we ended up with this hilarious revelation.
She would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish, something that was disgusting.
#4 Ashley Tisdale and Zac Efron (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody)
A similar thing happened in this particular instances Ashley did not want to kiss Zac as she always thoughts of him as her brother.
It’s the worst because I am so close to him, and he’s like my brother. He tried kissing me with his tongue, and I was like, ’Get away from me!’
#5 Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon (Water for Elephants)
This was a bit different as during the intimate scene, Robert was quite sick so it was all a bit disgusting for Reese but they had to continue with the scene.
My nose is running all over the place, and it was in one of the additional photography scenes, and Reese had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig.
#6 Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt (Passengers)
Jennifer felt quite guilty kissing Chris since he is married even though it is just a job.
What have I done? He was married. It was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that. That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been.
#8 Dave Franco and Halston Sage (Neighbors)
Dave had quite a lot to share when it came to the intimate scene between him and the actor Halton Sage.
It was nerve-wracking. I woke up that morning, and I had a giant pimple on my bottom. I had to go to the makeup artist who I had also met that week and be like, ’Can we go in the other room, and you’ll put makeup literally on my behind?’
#9 Kirsten Dunst and Brad Pitt (Interview with the Vampire)
Kirsten was quite young in this movie so this little peck was a bit weird for her as she shared afterwards.
I remember Brad would watch lots of Real World episodes. He had this long hair. He was just a hippie-ish cool dude. Everyone at the time was like, ’You’re so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,’ but I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think. I was a late bloomer.
#10 James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie (Wanted)
This might come off as a surprise but James was none too happy with having to kiss Angelina on-screen. He apparently never enjoyed those intimate scenes.
#11 Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller (The Spectacular Now)
There was apparently a battle going on between these two when it came to the intimate scenes. And they would both try to one-up each other.
She would take these Chinese herbal supplements, which tasted like dirt. And she would always eat them right before we had a kissing scene! We put stuff in our mouths, so we could offend each other.
