Adopting a dog is all about the connection. Whether you are at a shelter, find a stray on the street, or are at someone’s house who had posted an ad about selling their dog, if the connection establishes, 80% of the job is done. For the remaining 20% you just have to be very rational and give adoption a proper thought because it is not easy and you would really regret ruining a dog’s life if you adopted it just because you wanted a dog. It is a responsibility that must be honored properly.
People may have preferences when it comes to adopting a dog, which is very understandable. You may want a specific breed, you may want a senior or maybe a puppy, there may be a choice between a large breed or a small breed, color, but that is about it. You can never be too picky because the establishment of the connection is also an important part. So your demands are never rigid and they move with the flow. But not for this mother.
The mother in today’s story that we have got for you guys wants a Frenchy puppy for herself and her 2-year-old daughter. The problem is she hasn’t been able to find the perfect one after trying out 5 of them. So she decided to approach one person through text who happened to have some Frenchies but the text message was a proper nightmare for anyone who would read it. The message contained about a million demands that had to be fulfilled in order for this mother to actually adopt the dog. From the puppy not being vaccinated to the family being able to return it back within 2 weeks if they didn’t connect, these demands were so unrealistic and really out of the order.

Okay, I cannot with this woman. I had to interrupt. Just look at these demands. What world is this woman living in? Why so specific? I can bet even if she did find a dog as per her delusional checklist, she will make life hell for that animal. What else do you expect from a person who says light colored eyes of a dog connect it with Satan? These demands are atrocious. I will feel bad for whichever animal they adopt whenever in their life. This woman does not deserve a dog at all.
Oh and in which world do you get a tolerance-trained and house-trained dog who is also under the age of 10 weeks? These demands are unrealistic.
