Now, this was a surprise.
Don’t get me wrong, I know that most of the actors in the MCU cast were already well-established when they joined the MCU universe but I actually didn’t know that they had acted together before in different movies. This is actually quite hard to believe for me as well since I have watched some of these movies but since some of the actors are so young in these that I didn’t even recognize them before this.
From Scarlet Johansen to Benedict Cumberbatch, they have acted in a bunch of different movies with a myriad of different actors from the MCU cast. I bet this is why some of the chemistry in the movies between these characters is so good since they have already acted together. While I don’t even know the basics of acting myself, I assume it must make things easier to act with a partner you feel comfortable with or have worked with before.
I am quite sure that you will be surprised with some of the following as well. So just scroll below to take a look for yourself.
#1 Both Brie Larson and Mark Ruffalo were in 13 Going On 30.
#2 Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana have also worked before in Infinitely Polar Bear.
#3 We have Mark Ruffalo once again and this time, he acted with Michael Keaton in Spotlight.
#4 It is no surprise to see that Mark Ruffalo has worked with Robert Downey Jr as well and in this case, it was the movie Zodiac.
#5 The movie Chef had Scarlet Johansen, Rober Downey Jr, and Jon Favreau all together.
#6 Paul Rudd has also acted with Jon Favreau in the movie I Love You, Man.
#7 What’s You Number? was the movie where Chris Evans and Chriss Pratt appeared together.
#8 We have Scarlett Johansson here again but this time she acted in The Nanny Diaries with Chris Evans.
#9 The duo mentioned above also acted together in The Perfect Score.
#10 Brie Larson has also appeared in the same movie as Chris Evans and that movie was Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.
#11 Brie Larson and Michael Jordan have also appeared on screen together in the biopic Just Mercy.
#12 Michael Jordan again but this time with Tessa Thompson in Creed.
We use the term appeared together or acted together quite loosely here since some of these movies don’t have the characters even on the screen at the same time so I am not sure how much they were able to interact behind the scenes. However, it is always interesting to see these faces somewhere other than the Marvel Universe.
#13 Tessa Thompson has also worked with Chris Hemsworth in the movie Men In Black.
#14 The Star Trek movies saw Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Zoe Saldana working together.
#15 Tessa Thompson has also acted together with Benedict Wong in Annihilation.
#16 The Martian was the movie where Benedict Wong and Sebastian Stan appeared on screen together.
#17 Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke have also worked together in the horror movie Us.
#18 Brie Larson has also worked with Scarlet Johansson in Don Jon.
#19 Scarlet Johansson is here again but this time with Bradley Cooper in the movie He’s Just Not That Into You.
#20 The movie The Words is where Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana appeared on screen together.
#21 Bradley Cooper and Paul Rudd have also acted together in Wet Hot American Summer.
#22 Jeremy Renner and Bradley Cooper were in American Hustle as well.
#23 Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie worked together in the movie The Hurt Locker.
#24 Jeremy Renner here again but with Samuel L. Jackson this time in S.W.A.T.
#25 Samuel L. Jackson has also worked with Tom Hiddleston, and Brie Larson in Kong: Skull Island.
