20 Hilarious And Relatable “Anxious Animals” Comics That You Will Feel Bad For Laughing At

Artists use comics to showcase their creativity to the world.

There are so many comics out there with so many different themes and topics. I am sure there’s one for everyone. There are people who are into dark humor while others enjoy romantic stories so it is a huge plus point that we have been comic artists who have collectively mastered every domain you can think of. I once saw comics explaining good business skills. With time passing by and the world entering into an era that is beyond the modern era, it is observed that people don’t mind talking or making conversation about sensitive topics. Topics like anxiety, depression, and gender preferences were considered taboo. No one would touch upon them but things have changed now. There is an acceptance of such topics as well. And that is why we are now seeing comic artists create art on such topics. Anxiety is a huge issue and I don’t know about you guys but I have seen artists touch on the topic of anxiety in such a way that you actually like reading through those comics. Thanks to these initiatives, emerging artists feel confident in making comics on topics like anxiety and stress, and sharing them with the internet.

An emerging comic artist Amee Wilson puts her amazing skills and talent to great use by making comics on stress and anxiety. She posts her art on Instagram with almost 16,000 followers. To touch upon such a topic that revolves around people having a sense of fear and unease, Amee, however, managed to effortlessly execute this topic in her comic project “Anxious Animals”. She used animals instead of humans to create relatable comics about anxiety which provides us great insight into how emotional can anxiety be but the inclusion of animals makes everything a tad bit funny which lightens up the scenario and helps her readers read through the whole thing without feeling like they are being targeted.

I have never seen comics on anxiety presented like this. The animals have been so creatively used. It’s not like they have just randomly thrown an animal in every comic, they have perfectly chosen the right animal for every anxiety problem shown. Such kind of talent only comes in genes. You can’t learn this stuff so I absolutely commend Anee for blessing us with their art.
