Pet or your partner? Choose one!
If you have to choose one, who would you choose? We know so many times people chose their pets over their partners because pets are more loyal than partners. Your partner can cheat on you but your pet would not. Your partner can leave you but your pet would never leave you. It is worth choosing your pet over your partner. Not everyone gets to choose between their pet and their partner. Only the ones who can’t live with pets will put you in this position of choosing between both. So, choose wisely.
A Reddit user and her boyfriend decided that they would start living together and her boyfriend would move into her apartment. OP owns a cat, Millie. Her boyfriend is a dog person and would always comment on her cat. He would jokingly say that she would have to give her cat away when they’ll start living together. OP took it as a joke and used to laugh at it until she realized he was serious. As soon as she realized it, she told him that she would never get rid of her cat at any cost. It’s weird to hear a comment like that from a person who already hates cats. OP’s boyfriend might be right but she heard maliciousness in his tone and that’s a red flag. OP should get a pet camera in her apartment to see what’s the reality. Otherwise, her cat would get missing or get sick one day and she would be left with nothing and never get to know how she got sick or where did she go missing.
