Woman Excludes Parents From Pregnancy Reveal After They Lied To Her And Euthanized Her Cat

One pretty big example is today’s Reddit story posted on the r/AmItheButtface subreddit. Our OP is a cat mom who has had a loyal feline companion for eighteen years. OP’s childhood home used to always be a place of warmth and comfort, a sanctuary for her and her beloved cat. Yet, on one visit, her pet was nowhere to be found. When asked, OP’s parent’s gave very vague responses which only added to her confusion.

The repeated incidents of the cat’s absence continued until the realization dawned on OP and they realized they had not seen their childhood furry friend for a whole two months. She went and immediately confronted her parents and received a shocking confession. OP’s stepfather admitted that the cat was dropped off at the shelter due to the cat being sick, which her grandma noted was not true at all. This suggested that OP’s step-father’s decision was only based on his cat allergy rather than the concern of the cat’s health.
